We Attended a “No Kings” Protest

I was completely surprised by the turnout!

There were dozens of “No Kings” protests in the Los Angeles area, and we decided to head a little west to the one in Pasadena.

As I watched the crowd grow in downtown LA, I thought that maybe there wouldn’t be many people at the one in Pasadena.

I was wrong. Estimates I have seen put the number at 5,000+.

As we walked from the train station to the protest area, I was thrilled to see all four corners of the street packed with protestors. I could see protestors for blocks, and many, like us, were still arriving.

It was wonderful.

It was peaceful.

Volunteers tried their best to keep the crowds on the sidewalks but there were too many attendees and eventually the street was covered.

I am super glad we attended!
