Our Top 5 Places for Delish, Vegan Food During Our 5,052-Mile USA Road Trip

Our summer road trip was planned because we were attending a wedding in St. Louis. Driving from Los Angeles we knew we were in for a long driving haul, which is something we love doing.

As we planned the trip, I started considering other places and people to visit.

Then we added spots in Michigan.

Then Chicago, Omaha, and of course back home to Denver.

Our trip was filled with seeing people we love and eating amazing food.

I want to make sure that I share the places we ate at that we loved. All five were wonderful food surprises. Although I don’t mention “vegan” with all of the food I write about, everything described is vegan.

#1 Sweet Art in St. Louis, MO

Oh my! This place was perfect. We started with Big Momma’s Pecan Roll which was an absolute delight. The guy behind the counter who took our order was super kind and friendly. The restaurant has wonderful sayings on the walls.
