LinkedIn News — New Banners
Super excited with my new banners on both my Altrui Consulting page and my personal page.
My consultancy, Altrui Consulting, is in our fourth year. I have a five-year business plan and this year includes creating banners for my LinkedIn pages. Before these, I used photos. I love the photos, and many colleaugues on LinkedIn have suggested banners that reflect what I do.
I reached out to someone who had done design work for me over 12 years ago when I led a nonprofit fundraising team in Boulder, Colorado, and asked if she could help.
I reached out to her because I learned a long time ago to focus on what I am good at, and bring others in to work on other things. This practice is one of the reasons for the success of Altrui so far.
She said yes! Within a couple of days she emailed me what are now my banners. I am ecstatic. Not only for how the banners turned out and the feedback I am getting, but to be reconnected with her, and to have already accomplished one of my goals for year four in my business plan.
Hiring her saved me time, which is even more important when you are a one-person shop.
