Just For Today

Everything is pretty good when I stay in today.

This article is equally for you and for me! For me it’s a gentle reminder.

You may have heard of the phrase “One Day At A Time” from those in recovery programs. This article is about that.

It’s really more of a practice for me. Each day, no matter what is going on, I try to stay in that particular day. For me this means to not worry about yesterday and not worry about tomorrow.

As a consultant and business owner, I of course have to do work for the future, and make some plans for the future. Staying in today for me means that I can do that as long as I’m not planning outcomes or spending time today worrying about what is going to happen.

When I put this into practice, my day goes much smoother and I have much more peace.

That means I’m even more focused on client work and making sure that all I do for my clients is spot on.
