Fundraising Tip: 10 Actions to Take in December
The month will fly by so get started right away.

Those in nonprofit fundraising, and really anyone who has donors or clients, is busy this month.
Many are their busiest.
So let’s get right to it.
Take these actions this month:
- Spend time with people you love.
- Go for a walk.
- Have lunch with a favorite donor/client/customer, just to say thank you.
- Pull a list of people who donated last year in December and connect with them. Same can be done with customers.
- Don’t worry about asking “too” much.
- Check in with your colleagues to see how they are.
- The phone is your friend. Use it frequently to connect with donors.
- Make sure your donors know of other ways to give like appreciated stock and using their IRA.
- Don’t make it seem in any of your communications that if a donor doesn’t give in December, you’re doomed. Simply let them know why giving now supports your impact.
- Spend time with people you love.
