This is especially important when all is going well with your business.

This is a topic we all know about, and if you’re like me, one of those ideas that it’s nice to be reminded about every once in a while.

Don’t rest on your laurels. This may be a vintage term, and what it means is don’t stop.

Don’t stop doing the things you did to bring you the success that you are experiencing at the moment.

At Altrui, this is embedded in our business plan.

For us, this means a few things:

Keeping in touch with past clients.

Making sure subscribers to my blog get some attention.

Continuing to be active on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Medium.

Making sure my current clients feel as if they are my only client.

Staying in the arena. For me this means keeping up with all new things in the world of nonprofit fundraising.

This is your reminder. Don’t rest on your laurels. Keep rocking it.

Take a risk. Be of service. Support your friends and colleagues. Be kind.
