A December Checklist for Nonprofit Fundraising

There is plenty of time to engage with your donors for year-end giving.

Go easy on yourself. If you need a reminder of self-care, check out this article:

Make daily lists for what you want to accomplish. Each list can have as few as one item.

Example: Copy for e-appeal finalized.

Create a list of donors to call. These can include major donors, monthly donors, long-time donors, new donors. You get the drift. In a perfect scenario I’d like you to end up calling any donor who donated last year but has not yet donated this year.

This list does not have to be all on you. If you have a team, split the names. Ask you executive director to make some calls. There are even board members who will be willing to call a few donors.
