6 Reasons I Consider My Accountant Great
A great accountant is a must for a small business.
I am almost about to celebrate my 3-year anniversary of Altrui and want to share some reasons for my success.
On the top of my list is my accountant. I’ve written about her in the past, and she continually comes up whenever I’m doing a business gratitude list or talking about why I believe Altrui is doing well.
Finding an amazing accountant wasn’t one of the top things people suggested to me when creating Altrui. It took several months before I hired one, and two plus years before I found the right one for us.
If you are new to your own business or considering a new business, I highly recommend finding a great accountant as one of your top priorities. By great I mean:
· Is responsive to your communications
· Will access your QuickBooks (or other software)
· Will teach you how to best use QuickBooks (or other software)
· Will meet with you at least once a year, preferably at the end of each quarter.
· Will make it clear the importance of your quarterly tax payments and the amounts
· Will treat you kindly
