5 Suggestions to Help You with Your Next Nonprofit Recruiting Effort

Hi! I’m Dan Hanley, founder of Altrui Consulting, and in this story I want to share experiences I am having with recruiting. I specifically work with nonprofits, if that matters.
I work with nonprofit clients to help them build stronger relationships with their donors and stakeholders and to strengthen their fundraising. As part of this, I began doing recruiting for them, thinking that being a part of adding to their fundraising team with support my work.
Then earlier this year I was asked to recruit for a nonprofit CEO! This experience was amazing, one that made me want to do more recruiting.
After hundreds of interviews and dozens of meetings around writing job descriptions and planning the recruiting process, I’ve seen several things that work for the nonprofit, and make the process easier for them and a little more humane for those applying for the position.
Keep in mind that the process of finding a new person for your nonprofit fundraising team does not have to be grueling.
